About Us

Vitality Women’s Clinic is a Christ-centered, 501(c)(3), donor-supported nonprofit women’s healthcare organization serving the Metro East region from our clinic in Godfrey, Illinois. Our mission is to foster life, strength, and hope through compassionate medical care, meaningful support, and life-affirming guidance for women and families in our community.
Our clinic provides state-of-the-art services including pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, counseling, and evidence-based education. Beyond medical services, we offer holistic support by connecting women to essential community resources such as housing assistance, food support, parenting education, mentorship, and ongoing encouragement, because caring for women means caring for every aspect of their lives.
Vitality Women’s Clinic is more than a healthcare provider; it is a ministry of hope and restoration. Every woman who walks through our doors is met with compassion, respect, and the love of Christ. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where women feel seen, heard, and empowered to make informed decisions with confidence and peace.

Moving Forward
With Purpose
Vitality Women’s Clinic is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to fostering life, strength, and hope through compassionate medical care, meaningful support, and life-affirming guidance for women and families in our community.
Our Mission

Our Vision
To reach 100,000 women across the Metro East with our information, education and access to resources.
OUR HISTORY
For more than three decades, our organization has faithfully served women and families in the Metro East region. While our name and leadership have evolved, our heart for life, dignity, and compassionate care has remained steadfast.
The ministry first opened its doors as Arms of Love, founded and led by Karen Pilger. From the beginning, the organization was rooted in compassion, faith, and a deep commitment to supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies. These early years laid the spiritual and service-oriented foundation that continues to guide the organization today.
Leadership transition to Ron Wenzel
As the ministry grew, Ron Wenzel stepped into leadership and guided the organization through a significant transition, launching the new name Options Now. This season marked a period of expansion, increased community awareness, and a broadened scope of services designed to meet women where they were with clarity, care, and choice grounded in life-affirming values.
Leadership of Trudy Bodenbach
Under the leadership of Trudy Bodenbach, the organization grew with focused training and growth initiatives as it began the start of its transformation into Thrive Metro East. This era focused on strengthening operational structure, deepening community partnerships, and solidifying the organization’s identity as a trusted, professional, and compassionate women’s health resource in the Metro East region.
Leadership of Cara Paschal
Cara Paschal assumed leadership and took Thrive Metro East to the next level through affiliation with Thrive Nation. This season brought enhanced programming, broader network support, and expanded best practices while maintaining a strong local presence. The organization experienced increased reach, stability, and strategic alignment during this time.
Leadership of Jackie Duty – June 2025 to Present
In June 2025, Jackie Duty stepped into leadership and began a bold, prayerful process of transformation. With an eye toward strategic growth, hyper-local community impact, and expanded services, this season marked the beginning of the transition to Vitality Women’s Clinic.
This transformation reflects both a renewed vision and a deep respect for the organization’s legacy—building upon more than 30 years of life-affirming ministry while positioning the clinic to meet the evolving needs of women and families with excellence, innovation, and compassion.
While our name continues to evolve, our mission remains unchanged:
to empower women, strengthen families, and foster life, hope, and healing in our community.

Looking Ahead
Past. Present. Future. One mission - continued.
For over 30 years, we have stood as a trusted place of hope and compassion for women and families in the Metro East region. What started as Arms of Love evolved into Option Now, which was later renamed Thrive Metro East. On January 1, 2026, we officially became Vitality Women's Clinic. As we look toward the future, our mission remains the same — to empower women, save lives, and strengthen families, but our vision has expanded.
The name Vitality reflects growth, strength, and life — everything our mission embodies. It represents a renewed energy for the next chapter of our organization: a holistic, faith-driven, life-affirming clinic that supports women not only in crisis, but through every stage of health and healing.
This change allows us to:
• Reach more women through expanded medical services and wellness programs.
• Strengthen our identity as a local, independent organization rooted in the Metro East community.
• Broaden our impact through new partnerships, outreach, and technology-driven support.
• Continue our legacy of offering free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and life-affirming care — while growing into new areas of health and family wellness.
The new Vitality Women’s Clinic logo is filled with symbolism:
■ The Heart – Represents an open heart, compassion, and care.
■ The Heartbeat Line – Mirrors a vital sign monitor, representing the viability of life and the
unwavering beat of hope.
■ Vitality – Derived from the Latin word meaning “life.” It embodies energy, resilience, and strength — the very essence of womanhood and the heartbeat of our mission.
While our name is changing, our heart is not. We remain dedicated to the same compassionate care, professional excellence, and unwavering commitment to life that have defined our organization for decades. Together, we’re stepping into a new era — one filled with vitality, vision, and hope for generations to come.

Hello
I step into the role of Executive Director with deep gratitude and a strong sense of purpose. From the moment I walked through our doors, I knew I was entering into something sacred, three decades of love, service, and life-changing impact poured out by this community.
This organization has been built by countless staff, volunteers, donors, ambassadors, and members of our community. You have built a legacy that has touched thousands of women, children, and families across the Metro East. As I reflect on my first year, my heart overflows with gratitude for your partnership, your prayers, your generosity, and your steadfast belief in the value of every life.
Together, we have continued this mission with clarity and compassion. We have welcomed women who are scared, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn, and we have walked beside them with real, tangible support: free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STD testing, education, resources, and the kind of personalized care that reminds every woman “You are not alone.” We also recognized something important: our community is changing. Women are navigating new pressures, new fears, and new cultural messages. If we want to continue reaching them effectively, we must grow, evolve, and strengthen the way we serve. With excitement and careful intention, we are stepping boldly into our next chapter. Introducing Vitality Women’s Clinic.
While we move forward with purpose, we also take time to honor the past and recognize the efforts of so many incredible people who have impacted our community for good.
